Brock Pierce

Brock Pierce founded Internet Gaming Entertainment in 2001 and ZAM in 2003. He has been involved in the establishment of digital currencies and virtual goods. Many of his companies have operated in this virtual space.

Brock is active in the bitcoin/blockchain ecosystem, with numerous speaking engagements, conference activities, and community involvement. In 2014, Brock was elected director of the Bitcoin Foundation. He is founder and managing partner at Blockchain Capital, a venture-capital firm that is amongst the most active venture-capital firms in Fintech. Brock has invested in more than 30 companies in the blockchain ecosystem, has helped raise more than $200 million for companies he is involved with, serves as a mentor for startup accelerators, and runs a top AngelList syndicate.
